Hockey Girls heading to the NI Finals

The Hockey girls are heading to Garvey tomorrow to take part in the NI finals. The top primary schools in Northern Ireland will be slogging it out on pitch to find out which primary school will be crowned NI School Champions. Maralin made it to the finals last week by winning the mid ulster qualifying tournament along with Seagoe Primary and Armstrong Primary after 6 very difficult matches. The 3 schools won their sections with 10 other schools battling it out to get their chance to go to the NIs. and represent  Mid Ulster in tomorrow’s finals. When Seagoe, Maralin and Armstrong met in the final playoffs , they could not be separated in scores with each match ending in a 0-0 draw. All 3 schools shared the Mid Ulster title and were delighted to be presented with the trophy, gold medals and then get home to a warm bath after a very cold and wet day. The girls have trained so hard this year and thoroughly deserve their place in tomorrow’s final. Come on the blues !!
